verlorene I love 30+ mins tracks. double it, if this is a blackened doom metal piece. triple it, if this is Dauðaró. because doomy, slow and Icelandic-cold. because this is a freezing deepest abyss. the place, where the entire world is falling into.

Funeral Fog His best, most monolithic album to date. I had been hoping for a new album soon. One track, over 31 minutes of violent and cavernous blackened funeral doom!

Nuno Lourenço Even if I am not normally drawn into Funeral Doom, there is a mysticism here that is impossible to escape. In compositional terms, this is absolutely stellar. The best testimony to date, from this Icelandinc desolatelly rich and detailed project.

Speaking of a piece of music as 'planned out' more often than not has a negative connotation. Not here though. Both Salqiu's and SaG's pieces have been crafted with meticulous care, like piecing together a 1500 parts puzzle picturing an impenetrable blackness - 666 seconds per song, two per artist, without a single second feeling like bloat or the ending coming prematurely?
