bmurator Icelandic Blackened Funeral Doom. There are many experimental excursions here. It is both extremely dark & oppressive but at the same time it is also uplifting in places. It is an incredibly unique style & not at all an easy listen. However, it is well worth it as it is very rewarding as well! Recommended! Favorite track: I. Hin föla ásýnd II. Sundrung sjálfsins III. Sláttumaðurinn: Komdu heim.

starvynth "I’m very impressed with how Dauðaró created two very different songs that connect so seamlessly. The change is so gradual. The final result is hypnotic, elegant and oh so dark. It’s the waltz of the dead. But as the multitude of skeletons finish their final dance, the harsh static sets in. The bell tolls and you are left alone."

tr_🇺🇦 The first track is weird Icelandic funeral doom with very quiet and low grunts. Lo-fi, dissonant, clean guitars on top, some bells. Not an easy listen, restless.

The other track quickly turns into something even weirder. A long, carefully composed outro that had to have been intended for a much longer album, maybe a soundtrack. Definitely some classical influences. Try that nice orchestral part 6 minutes in (made me think of Jesper Kyd). Intriguing. Favorite track: I. Hin föla ásýnd II. Sundrung sjálfsins III. Sláttumaðurinn: Komdu heim.
